Zusammenfassung |
IGAC, iLEAPS and WMO founded the Interdisciplinary Biomass Burning Initiative (IBBI) in 2013. Its primary goal is to foster interdisciplinary research on biomass burning (BB), to improve atmospheric composition and air quality monitoring and forecasting through better scientific understanding of the various processes around BB. IBBI has organised its third workshop in 2014 at Schloss Ringberg in Germany, which results in the publication of a special issue of Atmospheric Environment. We present a summary of the results from the workshop and the special issue, as well as information on other on-going activities. |
