Zusammenfassung |
The deconvolution effect of the near-fault earthquake ground motions on the
stochastic dynamic response of tunnel-soil deposit interaction systems are
investigated by using the finite element method. Two different earthquake
input mechanisms are used to consider the deconvolution effects in the
analyses: the standard rigid-base input and the deconvolved-base-rock input
model. The Bolu tunnel in Turkey is chosen as a numerical example. As
near-fault ground motions, 1999 Kocaeli earthquake ground motion is
selected. The interface finite elements are used between tunnel and soil
deposit. The mean of maximum values of quasi-static, dynamic and total
responses obtained from the two input models are compared with each other. |
