| Zusammenfassung |
| In the thesis we deal with study of 2-day maximum in precipitation totals in 1951-2010 period. Since in Slovakia were previously mainly processed only maximum daily rainfall totals, in our thesis we focus on 2-day totals. Study of 2-day maximum totals represents an issue which is in our view crucial to pay attention to, because its represents a potential danger to citizens and their property. Hydrological aspects of the issue are also indispensable. We created analysis of 2-day maximum in precipitation totals based on data from the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute. It involved processing maximum and average values and climatic assurance of precipitation totals. We chose maps as the most representative way of presenting obtained data. |
