Zusammenfassung |
Voyager 1 is now in the local interstellar medium (LISM) and Voyager 2 in the heliosheath. This talk will provide an overview of recent results from these two spacecraft. The LISM is a very dynamic region with disturbances apparently driven by solar events. Signatures of these disturbances in the LISM are an increase in cosmic rays intensities, a cosmic ray anisotropy, plasma wave and radio emissions, and a shock-like increase in the magnetic field. We will show examples of these events and discuss their origin. Voyager 2 is seeing very different flow and particle profiles in the heliosheath than V1 observed. We show the recent data and discuss the origin of these differences
