| The Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) modelling system has been undergone continued development and improvement over the fourteen years since its initial release. As the applications of the model widen, the model’s performance is being evaluated more rigorously with the use of new data and verification method. This leads to new development that addresses the uncovered issues. In this presentation, several recent improvements will be discussed, and examples shown to illustrate how they may improve model performance. |
