| Zusammenfassung |
| The aim of this lecture is to clarify the strenthening processes within soils and to elucidate the consequences if external stress application exceeds internal soil strength not only from the physical but also chemical and biological point of view. In the lecture examples of how to link internal soil strength with external stresses will be discussed in order to define corresponding perhaps even site specific threshold values and to also define the sensitivity of soils. |
