| Using the 150 MHz receivers of the Giant Meterwave Radiotelescope (GMRT) in India, we
have searched for magnetospheric emissions from several extrasolar planet targets, including
HD179949, 70Vir, and Upsilon Andromedae. GMRT offers great sensitivity and
aperture in this frequency range. Calibrations with GMRT at 150 MHz have confirmed
the noise floor to be as low as a few mJy over a 5 MHz bandwidth, well below
the expected flux levels from the targets. We are in the process of analyzing the
data, and we will present the results showing radio maps and dynamic spectra. |
