| Monitoring of the photometric and chromospheric HK emission data series of stars similar to the Sun in average activity level and age showed that there is a correlation between the stellar average chromospheric activity level and photometric variability. We aim to understand whether the Sun obeys the empirical relationship prompted by the stellar data and to identify possible reasons for the Sun to be currently outside of this relationship. |
