Zusammenfassung
Quantifying future dynamic ice loss is very challenging and may not be suited to deterministic modelling. Here we propose a different approach based on concepts outside of the ice sheet community. Floods, hurricanes, earthquakes and volcanoes are just some of the complex, multi-faceted systems that have been hazard assessed. We will discuss new work applying these tools to better understand the contribution of dynamic ice loss to future sea level rise.
