| In this presentation we explore how realistic are the simulations of surface wind conditions and regimes for the European region using outputs from two different regional models (HadRM3P embedded in a global climate model and WRF) and comparing them with ERA-Interim reanalyses. In particular we focus on simulations relevant for extratropical storms. |
