| Zusammenfassung |
| As an alternative to standard weighing and tipping-bucket rain gauges, we propose a new, simple, and low-maintenance rain gauge. In a prototype configuration, additions of rainfall in both 1 and 5 mm increments were clearly detectable. Furthermore, the same gauge can be used to monitor evaporation. |
