| One of the sources of society knowledge is the research. Nevertheless, there is not always an interconnection between research, society and education. The Madrid region (Spain) organises “the week of Science” in order to get closer scientific advances to the society. In this context, the research group “Resources Valorisation” from UPM (Spain) organises from year 2005 the conference entitled “organic wastes valorisation” combined with different laboratory experiments in order to do more accessible the scientific advances from our research group to general public. During this time, assistants with different education levels, different areas and also different nationalities have participated. The objective of this work is to explain the evolution of the workshop contents, public and participation during the last years. |
