| The GTK-team candidate for World Digital Magnetic Anomaly Map 2011 makes use of updated, checked, reduced and leveled marine data of NGDC, original data stations of Antarctic and Argentina Margin, new anomaly compilations on Arctic, North America, Australia and Russia, new national and regional data sets of Cuba, French Guyana, Germany, Great Britain, Mozambique, Nigeria, Romania, Uganda, Balearic Sea, Greenland, Lomgrav, North Atlantic, a new reference anomaly model MF7, and WDMAM 2007 data where no new version is available. Resolution is 1.5 arc minutes and nominal elevation 2,5 km above the geoid. Criteria for and compilation process of the 2011 candidate are described. The grid is compared with WDMAM 2007, its published candidates and EMAG2. |
