| The air quality monitoring in cities is usually performed by means of a network consisting in in-situ gas and particle matter analysers placed in representative places, having key role for public health. This work presents different approach based on nanotechnology in-situ sensors installed aboard of a van or bus belong to urban transport network, providing geographical referenced data. The first field experiment conducted with deployment of ISEM (Integrated Station for Environmental Monitoring) in the urban area of Bologna is presented in this work. The processing of obtained data outputs 2D maps of pollution distribution over the city. Detailed description of sensor, system and software is presented too. |
