| In 2010 PEP725 a project funded by EUMETNET (the network of European meteorological services), ZAMG and the Austrian ministry for science & research bm:w_f started and will be running for 5 years.
The main objective of PEP725 is to promote and facilitate phenological studies and research by delivering a pan European phenological database with an open, unrestricted data access for science, research and education. So far 16 European meteorological services and 5 partners from different national phenological network operators have joined PEP725.
The data access will be very easy via web-access from www.zamg.ac.at/pep725. Having accepted the PEP725 data policy and registry the data download is quick and easy and can be down by different criteria. Now (January 2011) we have observations of 31 European countries in the PEP725 that is in total data from 8150 stations, and for some more stations (154) we can at least provide META data (location and data holder). Links to the network operators and data owners are also on the webpage in case you have more sophisticated questions about the data. |
