| A new calculations of the aerosol direct radiative forcing for the year 2006 have been performed using the ESA GlobAEROSOL data set derived from Advanced Along Track Scanning Radiometer (AATSR), and the Edwards and Slingo fast radiative transfer code. Monthly values of radiative forcing have been calculated for 22 regions, which provide global coverage. An extensive error characterisation has been carried out on both the data and modelling assumptions.
This poster will present a summary of the analysis performed and the results obtained thus far. |
