Zusammenfassung
Measurements of the vertical profile of the ozone concentration using ballon-borne ECC ozonesondes were launched twice a month during 2009 and 2010 from the University of Magallanes station at Punta Arenas , Chile (53.2S; 70.8W). During the austral spring and Antarctic Ozone Hole (AOH) activity over the south cone of America some perturbed profile were obtained and analysed. Last year the AOH was very active over the Chilean and Argentinean Patagonia. In 2010, the total ozone column was not very low but the analysis shows that in the preliminary comparison, there was an important loss between the 10 and 23 Km range. During the 18th and 19th of October 2010 the percentage of ozone concentration loss was 94% at 18 Km. This was the first results of UVO3Patagonia project (supported by Japan International Cooperation Agency). Comparisons of DIAL (Differential Absorption LIDAR) in Rio Gallegos (Argentina) and ECC of ozone vertical profile will be presented.
