Zusammenfassung |
BACCHUS is a bilateral project between Belgium and Canada to
develop modeling and assimilation tools for chemical weather
applications. In this framework we have started the evaluation of the
GEM-MACH15 Air Quality forecasting model running operationally above
Canada. Here we show results of comparisons between predictions and
ozonesonde observations above North America. Furthermore, we
are in the process of adapting GEM-MACH15 to allow it to run over the
European domain as well as improving the ozone treatment at higher
altitude in its chemical module. Preliminary results are shown. |
