| Zusammenfassung |
| Coupled sea ice and ocean model based on newly developed Community Earth System Model (CESM from UCAR -University Corporation for Atmospheric Research) has been adopted for Baltic Sea. It consists of Community Ice Code (CICE model version 4.0) and Parallel Ocean Program (version 2.1). The models are coupled through CPL7, which is based on MCT tools. The model was forced by ERA40 reanalysis data. Initial results and hindcast scenario performed using forty years ECMWF reanalysis from the ocean model perspective will be presented. |
