Zusammenfassung |
Delayed Time (DT): A consistent data set from built upon all altimeters:
DUACS-DT data set is composed of global data sets of along track and gridded Sea Level Anomaly, Absolute Dynamic Topography, and geostrophic currents, but also of regional-specific products (higher resolution, optimized parameters). The 17 years of altimeter data were recently reprocessed and all the DT products updated. These reprocessed products use, among others, the up-to-date standards (GDR-C or equivalent when available), improved inter-calibration-process and reprocessed 7-year reference surface. Significant impacts are visible on large scale characterizing the regional mean sea level trend; on coastal areas where variability of the signal is better observed; and in high latitude areas where improved quality of the data was taken into account in order to optimize spatial coverage of gridded products. |
