| The non-extensivity approach, based in the Tsalli´s entropy has been applied in order to characterize seismic processes occurred in some seismic regions in the world. In this work we analyze the seismicity occurred within the period of 1974-2010 along the Mexican South Pacific coast by means of the non-extensivity approach. To make the analysis we distinguish four regions along the coast and comprising the subduction zone, because previous works found different subduction patterns for those regions. Our results indicate a possible correlation between the obtained parameters with the seismicity pattern associated to the inclination angle of each subduction region studied. |
