| New Doppler equipment for measurement of water discharge gives us opportunity for measurement of high flows in difficult field conditions. High flows, with high sediment transport, high turbulence and floating trees are challenge with new equipment also.
Measurement by Doppler equipment on section segment basis give us nice opportunity overlook of discharge measurement in detail and to exceed problems with high suspended sediment transport.
Mesurement of high flows of the Sava river in September 2010 near Brežice will be presented. Measurement include mainstreamflow and innundation flow. Discharge is estimate as between 50 to 100 return period.
