| In 1990 Slovenia suffer most sever flood in 20th century with damage of 19,7 GDP. Disaster
was well documented and analysed. A lot of data is available and useful for hydrological and
hydraulics analysis, but also some equipment for hydrological measurement was damaged
and data are lost. Flood discharge was estimate on flood discharge curve and discharge
measurements derived with that time equipment. To day 3D ADV Doppler equipment provide
us with measurement of higher discharge that give possibility for better estimated discharge
curves. New measured data of flood peak flows give us a new look what is going on during
the flood 1990. Results of analysis give us much lower flows than previously estimated ones. |
