| GlobAEROSOL is a 12 year, global dataset of aerosol properties derived from European satellite sensors. The dataset includes products from the ATSR-2 (on the ERS-2 platform), AATSR, MERIS (both on the ENVISAT platform) and the SEVIRI imager on the second generation MeteoSats, as well as a merged product combining information from all available sensors. The dataset was publically released in December and is available from http://www.globaerosol.org/project_description/data.htm
Initial results from the investigation of the long-time series provided by GlobAEROSOL will be presented, with particular emphasis on consistency of results from the ATSR-2 and AATSR instruments. |
