| The dynamics of particle movement by breaking waves is considered, mainly experimentally. In particular, the creation of a two-dimensional beach of particles by breaking waves will be highlighted. The experimental set-up has been built in collaboration with Dutch artist/designer Wout Zweers for an idealized case. The subsequent modeling strategy and the first modeling results will also be discussed. |
