The comparison of neighbour catchment is a quite easy and widely used method for determination of hydrological parameters for hydrological predictions. Much more difficult is the comparison between water qualities of the neighbour rivers. The impact on water quality depends on land management as well as industry, what can varied much from side to side. However, when the is no industry and rivers can be considered as similar in land management and population of livestock, some times is possible to find relations. The two neighbor similar river has been compared to find temporal tendencies in water quality indicators (basically forms of phosphorus and nitrogen) as well as relation. Both river catchment (Zagożdżonka and Zwoleńka) are in the central Poland at the Mazovian lowlands. |
