Zusammenfassung |
The Michelson Interferometer for Passive Atmospheric Sounding (MIPAS) is a Fourier Transform Spectrometer orbiting the earth aboard the ENVISAT platform. Normally, it measures emission spectra from the Earth's limb at tangent heights from 6 to 70 km, but under special viewing modes it can measure up to 172 km. Since April 2007, MIPAS has been measuring the entire middle atmosphere at least once every ten days; however these measurements cannot be processed using the standard retrieval scheme. Here we present a brief comparison of the retrievals of these data using MORSE, a retrieval scheme developed at Oxford University, against other datasets. |
