| The losses of leaching are increased with nitrogen fertilizer application rate increased. Under wheat-corn double cropping system, the average amount of the nitrate leaching through 180 cm soil depth were 6、58、150 kg/ha in one year from year 2002 to 2004 with N 200, 400, 800 kg/ ha treatments, and the leaching rate were 3%, 5%, 19.0%. During wheat season the irrigation before planting and the first irrigation in the next year can cause lots of nitrate leached, and the period of corn season during which nitrate were leaching is the time after corn emergence to twelve leaves. |
