| The EU ENSEMBLES project has given the impacts community a unique opportunity to try some approaches to semi-seamless approaches to the use of model data sets. At this stage they mostly represent the use of the same impacts model with a range of model streams e.g. Regional Climate Models and seasonal forecasts. Examples from health models including malaria and blue tongue will be given. The paper will develop discussion points outlining the needs of going seamless from a user community perspective and will have a brief review of the current climate model community perspective to the tasks ahead. |
