The investigations about relationships between organic and mineral suspended sediment has been carried in a small, lowland river in central Poland. During investigation period, the samples form flood events and low flow periods has been collected through automatic sampler and settling tank. Based on received results, the calculated average relation between organic and mineral suspended sediment during floods fluctuated between 0,36 to 0,86. In the most cases the relation decrease with the duration of flood. During long periods with low flow, the average relation seems to be steady and equal 0,61. |
