| The project EUPOS (European Position Determination System) was initiated in 2002. The project consists in establishment of about 900 multifunctional satellite reference stations on the area of 16 countries in Central and Eastern Europe that will be used for positioning of geodetic points and for navigation. Polish part of the EUPOS called ASG-EUPOS("Aktywna Siec Geodezyjna = Active Geodetic Network EUPOS)was concluded in June 2008. Five services are offered. The paper describes the system and test surveys, gives first experiences and detailed information on offered services and users. The programme of future plans is also discussed. |
